Privacy and saved data

You can play without an account or email address. The simulation runs in your browser, and its saved records remain on your device unless you choose to export and share them.

Browser storage

The game uses local storage and IndexedDB for saved simulation state, archives, preferences, and local keepsakes. These records belong to the current site address and browser profile. They remain until you remove them or your browser clears them. Private browsing may discard them when the private session ends. This edition does not use a game-server session cookie or send saved lives to a game database.

Backups and moving devices

“Download backup” creates a file on your device. “Restore backup” reads a file you select into your browser. These operations do not upload the file to a game server. Backups can contain saved lives and any text you entered, so keep them private and only import files you trust. To move to another browser or device, transfer the file yourself and restore it there.

Local features and example content

Local memorials and other saved keepsakes are not published to other visitors. Shared community posts, public houses, online memorial links, server transfer codes, and cloud syncing are unavailable in this edition. Included example stories and memorials are fictional demonstrations.

Analytics

No advertising or third-party analytics script is enabled in this edition. The game does not send gameplay activity to an analytics service. If analytics is added later, this page will need to describe it.

Feedback

The feedback button opens the operator’s feedback form, hosted by Google Forms. When you choose to continue, your feedback, optional nickname, and displayed game information are prefilled in that form. The form also requires an email address, which you enter there. Review the information and press Submit in Google Forms to send it to the operator. Merely writing feedback on this website does not submit it. Google processes information entered into its form under Google’s privacy policy.

Hosting and other websites

The public site is prepared for static hosting on Cloudflare Pages. When it is hosted there, Cloudflare delivers the site files and may process connection information such as IP addresses and request details for delivery and security. Local previews do not use Cloudflare to serve the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Opening an external sharing service or sending email involves that service’s own privacy practices.

Removing records and recovery

Use the game’s available delete controls to remove individual local records. To remove all local game data, clear this site’s storage in your browser settings. The operator does not hold a copy of your saved lives and cannot restore them after deletion. Export a backup before clearing site data, changing browsers, or moving from a local preview to the public site. Delete exported files separately if you no longer want them.

Payments and contact
